Relladi was born with the idea that people should not have to break the bank to afford luxurious items.

Relladi is derived from the names of both of its founders.

Relladi was born out of a passion for fashion. We believe that fashion is a canvas upon which we paint our emotions, aspirations, and identity. Whether it’s a classic tailored suit or a vibrant accessory, fashion allows us to convey who we are and what we want to become. Relladi was born out of this passion, along with an interesting experience we endured at an upscale luxury boutique.

We were on 5th Avenue in New York City at a high-end luxury brand store, and little did we know that his experience would lead us to founding Relladi.

I have been inspired by crocodile bags for as long as I can remember. Many of them have been bags that my wife uses, both as work briefcases and personal handbags. Why can’t men have classy things too?

On that summer day in New York, it was getting late in the day, and I had one more stop I wanted to make, and on top of that, it was our last night in town.  As I stood in the store, my eyes caught a crocodile briefcase. It was glowing under the store lights. You know they put the lights in a way to entice you. I just wanted to buy one, just to buy one. I wanted one. Period.

I went up to the salesperson to ask him if I could see the briefcase. I think to myself, as I check out the bag and look in the mirror, where would I carry this bag? After I was done drooling, I turned to my wife and said, what do you think? She replied, it’s nice, find out how much it is.

After asking for the price, I was appalled at two things. First, when I was asking for the price, the salesperson told me the price, with all certainty, as if he knew the product inside out. He gave me a price that was in the 4-figure range, and quickly walked away to take care of other customers. Then he returned, checked the price tag and said, oops! I left out a zero! Suddenly, the price went from 4 figures to 5 figures. Second, in luxury boutiques, you expect a certain level of service and experience. The salesperson had poor customer service skills. You should be left with a story behind the product that you are spending so much money on. This experience had me running out the store so fast that one would have thought someone was chasing me.

We take pride in delivering the finest quality products. We spent substantial time finding the right partners and sourcing the finest leather. Our products are all hand-made in the U.S.A.  The leather artisans we work with have years of experience working with luxury brands and therefore are able to understand the quality of products. We pride ourselves on customer service.
